Our Summer Yoga Retreat at West Lexham, Norfolk will be on 18th - 20th August 2023 and is a retreat designed to honour our summer months and our expansive energy at this time of the year. The invitation here is for you to explore your fullest potential through immersing in energy cleansing yoga practices, taking time for you, connecting with nature, whilst unapologetically recognising your inner radiance.
Our yoga retreats in the UK are designed for the people who: love yoga, or on the seat of curiosity and ready to immerse themselves into time away as you breathe, flow & drop into 90min practices, nature, connectivity & kindness.

FRIDAY:
4pm: Guest Arrivals
4-4.30pm: Group Introduction & Settle in
4.30-5pm: Opening Fire Ceremony & Intention Setting
5.15-6.45pm: Opening 90min Yoga Practice (Mantra & Earth Mandala Vinyasa) with Nicola
7.15pm: Dinner
8pm+: Relax, Sunset Swimming, Socialise or Self time to chill
SATURDAY:
7-8am: Pre-yoga tea / snack
8.00am-9.30am: 90min Yoga Practice (Mantra, Fire Mandala Vinyasa) with Nicola
9.30.10.30am: Breakfast
10.30-1.30pm: FREE TIME
(Use of the studio, grounds, nature walks, swimming, paddle boarding, nature walks)
1.30-2.30pm: Group lunch
3-4pm: **Optional** Workshop
4-6pm: FREE TIME
Use of the studio, grounds, nature walks, swimming, nature walks)
6-7.30pm: 90min Yoga Practice (Yin Yoga & Meditation) with Nicola

7.30: Group Dinner
SUNDAY:
8-9am: Pre Yoga tea / snacks / Morning Swim
9-10.30am: 90min Yoga Practice & Crystal Bowl Sound Bath (Mantra & Air Mandala Flow)
10.30-10.45am: Closing Circle
10.45-12pm: Closing Brunch
Please note you are welcome to chill at West Lexham up until 12pm and enjoy the nature and everything the space has to offer, but all rooms must be checked out of at 10am (this is a request from West Lexham). Thank you!
You can bring your own paddle board if you have one, or hire them here!
PLEASE NOTE: Whilst our yoga retreats are for all levels, for our Summer Retreats due to the nature of the practices designed, we recommend you to take a couple of Vinyasa Flow classes before attending the retreat so you have confidence with the fundamentals of a more dynamic practice on the mat. If you have hearing difficulties and you'd love to attend but the Sound Bath won't be right for you, there is no pressure to stick around, we will leave a pause for you to exit the room and sit and enjoy some time in nature or a grab a cup of tea after your yoga practice instead.

ABOUT YOUR RETREAT HOST
Nicola is the founder of Actively Alive Yoga Studio, based in Faversham and she studied yoga in India in 2018 before coming back to the UK to teach. Her experience in India is really the under current of her teachings and this presence can be felt in her classes, intertwined gently with her own discoveries and journeys through yoga.
She's passionate about teaching yoga a a way of helping individuals unfold the wholeness of who they are, realising their inner strengths and internal tools to become more conscious, aware and fulfilled in their everyday life.
Whilst incorporating lots of traditional elements of mantra, pranayama, meditation and asana in her classes you will experience her own uniqueness of flow, light hearted energy, paired with carefully curated playlists that enhance the energy of the space.
